Happy 9th Birthday Lexi!

Lexi’s birthday was this past Friday. So we had her party on Saturday. Lexi wanted a “Hippie” party. So here comes the tie dye. We did try to tie dye some shirts for the party. They looked great wet , right after we dyed them. But after we rinsed them, they turned funky. The white areas were gray. Need to learn how to perfect that next time. Anyway, we got an idea from a blog to do a rainbow cake for the party. Lexi wanted to make her own cake , so that worked out with the tie dye theme. We had just family come , Uncle Jeff was able to make it this time. Thanks to everyone that came and made her birthday so special. After we did cake and ice cream, Jason started up a game of football. We ended up tying the game 21-21. After the party, it was time to get ready for trick or treating. We had a great day and a wonderful weekend! Oh and Lexi got her new bicycle with her birthday money. Thank you from Lexi for all the cards, money and gifts.
