Website Update

I did an update of the old theme last night and got an email this morning that Sharon could not comment. I knew what the problem was and got to a computer at work to fix it real quick. When i visited the site, i saw that the site was being absolutely butchered. Turns out, internet explorer version 8 did not like the old template. Version 9 works fine. At first i thought, “poop on it. Who uses IE 8 anyway?”, but according to Google analytics, the majority of our visitors are on internet explorer and half of those IE users are on v. 8. Doh!

So, i have installed a back up plan. Actually, i like this template a lot better. It was specifically designed for churches. We’re not a church website, but we’re close in terms of what we offer here.

I still have a few kinks to work out…possibly a change in images…but i worked hard for about 2 hours straight tonight to get the meat of it up. I hope you enjoy it and if there are any issues, don’t hesitate to let me know!

Oh yeah, and i forgot to add that we have officially added Paul Gates as an author here. It just made more sense, rather than have Sam posting stuff for him.

Thanks Jason! I like the looks of this setup. I know it takes a lot of time to set up and maintain a website and I appreciate it. :o)

Oh, and just to let you know, I switched to Firefox instead of IE because I was having trouble with my IE on certain websites. I changed over at home and at work. What was weird is that those of us at work still using XP suddenly couldn’t open PDF files from websites through IE but when I changed to Firefox it worked fine. Strange.

  Thanks, Sharon. Firefox is great! I’ve been using Chrome lately and really like it as well. Anything but IE. Oh wait, i’m starting to sound like one of those “anyone but Obama” folks. haha.

ROFL…I have not talked with Talbot in about two weeks (this week he was out of town), and he had NOTHING to do with Paul coming over here……These guys are deranged….Once again, it illustrates that those who defend orthodoxy have no morals, no compass…..and yet, they want to be called “Christians”……

Thank you for your welcome. The site looks great and I appreciate the opportunity to post with you guys.

As for the RINO’s (Reformed In Name Only, for those not familiar with the term ), well I’m not sure much needs to be commented upon. Although they do remind me of the old adage about pointing fingers, something about the number pointing back, which of course in this case is an understatement. At the end of the day, I guess they don’t like having their inconsistencies pointed out. Of course this is only natural, so their incessant misrepresentation of the facts should be expected by all.
